The shopping mall “Zvyozdny” opened in October 2006 in the southern part of St. Petersburg, at the crossing of the Lensoveta Street and the Dunaisky Avenue. Shops selling clothes and footwear, jewellery salons, cafes and a McDonald's bistro can be found here. The total area of the shopping gallery is 5,000 m². The opening of the mall “Zvyozdny” entailed the reconstruction of the territory of the popular marketplace “Zvyozdny”. The total designed area of new facilities on the Lensoveta Street will amount to 161,000 m².

The business centre “Continent” with the area of 40,000 m² and a parking for 400 cars is expected to open in 2009; the third shopping and entertainment mall of the "Continent" chain with the area of over 121,000 m² is expected to open in 2010.
